While the flagship music festival for EDC happens in Las Vegas, its growing popularity has expanded the venues worldwide, including the other side of the American coast in Orlando and down south in Mexico City. The music festival lineup has all of the big names in EDM, which includes Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, Yellow Claw, Tiësto, Zedd and over 200 other names. Not only do you get to enjoy performances of epic proportions, but you get to get in touch with your inner child since EDC is a real carnival with all the fun rides, too.

The music festival also makes its appearance down in Mexico City for a party south of the border.
If you’re looking for something more eclectic in musical palate, head to one of the major American music capitals: Austin, Texas. The October festival spans across two weekends and attracts over 450,000 attendees, but for good reason. Not only are they about EDM here, but the headliners also include rap, rock, alternative and more. It’s the perfect festival to get a little taste of everything, such as attending a performance by Foo Fighters and then heading over to a different stage to see Cardi B.

Veld is where electronica meets a bit of hip-hop in the busy city of Toronto, Canada. Annually held since 2012, the festival continues to grow and now reaches over 30,000 attendees. While it’s smaller scale may not be comparable to Austin City Limits attendance of 450,000, it doesn’t mean the lineup is anything to laugh at. We’re talking about over 30 acts, which include Steve Aoki, Skrillex, Kygo, Alesso, Cardi B and more.
Riverside wilderness takes on a whole new level of fun at Future Forest. The three-day music festival takes place on over 200 acres of forest that immerse its set right into nature, the only music festival of its kind in New Brunswick. There are over 80 EDM performers, along with visual and performance artists, such as aerialist, acrobats and fire performers. The campsite also dons a yoga retreat and hot showers, adding an extra “glamp” element to your festival experience.
Montreal, Quebec also has a music festival to offer: Osheaga. The three-day indie music festival spans over six stages. Don’t let the idea of the indie music scene scare you away. The lineup includes major artists, such as Childish Gambino, Gucci Mane and Hozier, as well as close to 100 other artists. The perk of this festival is that it is centrally located just minutes from downtown Montreal, where you can enjoy a great food scene and try your luck at the casino.
